🏐 Lunchtime League Finals – Gaelic Games 🏐
Before the Christmas holidays, we had the all-important lunchtime league finals to look forward to, and the pupils of Faughanvale P.S. certainly put on a brilliant showcase of Gaelic Games.
We enjoyed three fantastic Gaelic football finals, all played to a very high standard. The matches highlighted excellent skill, teamwork and sportsmanship throughout. A huge well done to all the players who took part in the lunchtime league — your effort, commitment and enthusiasm were outstanding.
The Cup Final saw Dublin and Galway go head-to-head in a thrilling contest that kept everyone watching right to the final whistle. Both teams gave it their all in a high-quality game, but it was Dublin who emerged victorious and were crowned champions after a superb performance.
Special congratulations to Tomás McCloskey, who captained Dublin to the trophy and was deservedly named Player of the Tournament — a fantastic achievement and a brilliant way to round off an exciting lunchtime league at Faughanvale P.S
