Bonjour, Dia Duit, Ciao, Ola, Guten Tag
Yesterday, Faughanvale Primary School once again celebrated the European Day of Languages. This event has become one of the highlights of our school year. All classes arrived in fancy dress, either in the national dress of their country or in the colours of its flag.
Our whole school assembly enabled the classes to showcase their new found language skills. We were treated to a magnificent display of songs and dance from different European Countries.
The kitchen staff provided a continental style dinner, letting our children sample some of the savoury delights of Europe.
A sincere thank you must go to our parents for preparing the magnificent costumes and outfits worn by their children.
