Primary Five have had a great time during Maths Week Ireland. The pupils have been exploring the properties and features of 3-D shapes. The boys and girls used augmented reality to create 3D shapes around the school building. The pupils demonstrated some excellent ICT skills.
Primary Five continued to explore 3D shapes by creating different 3D shapes using marshmallows and cocktail sticks. The pupils used great teamwork skills and thoroughly enjoyed an excellent afternoon of learning fun.
The boys and girls also used their understanding of coordinates to plot Fortnite landing spots. Game 24 has also been a major hit among P5 and the pupils are looking forward to competing in a championship later in the week.
