The past two weeks at Faughanvale PS have been packed with fantastic action as our Lunchtime Gaelic Football League reached the semi-final and final stages. We were treated to some brilliant games, with all players showing great skill, determination, teamwork and sportsmanshipthroughout.
In the Tailteann Cup Final, it was a closely fought contest as Kerry edged past Galway in an exciting encounter to lift the cup after a thrilling game that kept everyone watching right to the end.
The All-Ireland Final then lived up to expectations, with Derry taking on Dublin in a high-quality match full of energy, passion and excellent football. After a superb performance, Derry emerged victorious following a great game enjoyed by all.
A huge congratulations to all the boys and girls who took part in the league. You should be very proud of your effort, teamwork and positive attitudes — you made this year’s competition a massive success! 👏
