Our Primary 6 class made the short trip to St. Aidan's forest in Magilligan as part of their World Around Us topic of Trees.
The pupils carried out a comparison study of the biodiversity within a Coniferous and Deciduous forest. They also had the opportunity to measure the height, girth and canopy size of the different trees.
The pupils thoroughly enjoyed their experience.
