Primary Five at Faughanvale PS have had an out-of-this-world start to their new World Around Us topic: Space! The pupils have thoroughly enjoyed exploring the solar system and have produced some fantastic, vibrant artwork inspired by the planets. Using their growing coding skills, they even recreated Neil Armstrong’s moon landing using ScratchJR.
Their creativity continued to shine as they designed their own space-themed e-book reports using the JIT tools on J2Easy. We were especially impressed by the imaginative planets they invented—ranging from Manchester United worlds and K-pop demon hunter realms to Taylor Swift planets and even a Faughanvale GAA planet!
Primary Five have truly blasted off with enthusiasm and creativity this term.
